By accessing or using SweetHome's AI interior design service at sweethome.mksr.net (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Description of Service

SweetHome provides an AI-powered interior design tool that:

  • Accepts room photographs as input
  • Processes text descriptions of desired design changes
  • Generates AI-rendered interior design visualizations

The Service is provided "as is" and we make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, quality, or suitability of generated designs for any particular purpose.

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You shall not:

  • Upload images containing illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Upload images that infringe on third-party intellectual property rights
  • Upload images containing personally identifiable information of others without consent
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service
  • Use the Service to generate content that is misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

3.2 Content Ownership

  • You retain ownership of the original images you upload
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use and upload any images
  • You grant us a temporary license to process your images for the purpose of generating designs

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Generated Content

Subject to your compliance with these Terms:

  • You own the rights to the AI-generated design images created from your inputs
  • You may use generated images for personal or commercial purposes
  • We do not claim ownership of your generated content

4.2 Service IP

The Service, including its software, algorithms, interface, and branding, is owned by SweetHome and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

5. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Disclaimers

6.1 Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Specific processing times for image generation
  • Availability in all regions or at all times

6.2 AI-Generated Content

AI-generated designs are for visualization purposes only:

  • They are not professional architectural or interior design advice
  • They should not be used as construction or renovation plans
  • Results may vary and are not guaranteed to match expectations
  • Generated images may contain inaccuracies or artifacts

6.3 No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • We shall not be liable for any loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations on liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SweetHome and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Content you upload or generate through the Service

9. Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause
  • Remove any content that violates these Terms
  • Modify or discontinue the Service at any time

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong SAR, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Hong Kong SAR.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

12. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SweetHome regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
